Carpenter is an 11-year veteran of Veeam, where he was one of the original solution engineers and served several strategic functions, including expanding the partner ecosystem, leading worldwide technical alliances, and serving for more than two years as technical director on the Microsoft partnership, driving joint solutions and integrations.
Carpenter’s appointment is in line with Aparavi’s recently announced Early Access Program for its new Data Intelligence and Automation Platform. Carpenter’s mission at Aparavi is to lead and develop a cross-functional team focused on providing the best platform and customer experience. This includes building out a team of trusted advisors at Aparavi to guide customers and partners and to engage their feedback into the Aparavi development and innovation process, ensuring the platform evolution ties closely with customers’ present and future needs.
“As our platform and customer base rapidly expands, we saw that many of our teams shared common objectives and our evolution could be accelerated with Matt’s expertise,” said Aparavi founder and CEO Adrian Knapp. “Matt is ensuring that the end-to-end user experience is superior, from initial configuration to technical features to giving our architecture team essential customer feedback.”
“The market is heading away from current processes in protection and archive to advanced data intelligence and automation, and Aparavi’s technology uniquely addresses many current and future considerations, such as multiple cloud management, compliance, classification, and discovery,” said Carpenter. “Within the company itself, I saw an opportunity to create a modern and cross-functional organization where our vision and roles all orbit around one goal: making sure the platform perfectly meets the needs of our users, today and tomorrow.”
